NOTES: Same continuity as The Heat of A Thousand Young Stars. I now know more about lightsaber forms than I care to.

On the forms themselves - more information about Juyo can be had here; more information about double-bladed lightsabers can be had here. Basically, Juyo (and its more recent variation of Vaapad, of which Mace Windu was the primary practicioner) is recognized as the seventh of seven lightsaber combat forms and is known also as the Way of the Vornskr, or the Ferocity Form. It was controversial within the Order because it espoused the idea of letting one's passion and emotions drive their actions in battle, coming close to violating the line of the Jedi Code that reads 'There is no emotion, there is peace'. Likewise the use of double-bladed lightsabers or lightstaffs was not common, as they were often used by the Sith.
